Rachel Tanenblatt

Audience Development Manager

As the Audience Development Manager, Rachel Tanenblatt is responsible for all Baltimore Choral Art marketing and public relations. She is the primary contact for media members and works closely with advertisers to promote BCA events. In this role she oversees group sales campaigns by writing and distributing press releases and promotional materials. Rachel also fulfills box office operations such as implementing renewal and new prospect campaigns, and processing all subscription and single ticket orders. 

Rachel Tanenblatt is an artist who wears many hats, most notably those of musician and graphic designer. She has been singing with Baltimore Choral Arts as an alto vocal fellow since 2016. She has had a lifelong love of choral music, with a Bachelor’s degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey and a Master’s in Kodály Music Education from the American Kodály Institute at Loyola University. 

In 2014 Rachel established her own business, Music With Mrs. Tanenblatt, where she uses her design skills to create digital and print resources for music educators. Rachel is passionate about all things social media and delights in curating meaningful content that can inspire her audience. She believes that everyone has a story worth telling and her mission is to use compelling audio and visuals to help others tell their stories. 

Originally from Long Island, New York, Rachel currently lives in Baltimore with her husband, their two delightful children, and Buddy, their pet bearded dragon.
